Who we are

Derek Moore is Managing Director of the groups company. He has been active in group travel since the early 1970s. For some thirteen years he worked as a tour leader, taking groups across the Sahara and overland through Africa, on trans-continental journeys from London to Kathmandu, led groups across South America from Lima in Peru to Rio in Brazil, and travelled or escorted groups in over a hundred countries.

In 1981 he co-founded Explore Worldwide, and was Operations Director for over 20 years as Explore became arguably the world’s largest adventure tour operator. After selling Explore in 2000 he remains with the company as an associate Director, having over 35 years experience of leading and organising group travel.

Currently Chairman of the Association of Independent Tour Operators – AITO – he has unrivalled experience of organising adventure and activity-based group tours. This knowledge he now brings to the groups company.

Rene John Siva is the Sales and Marketing Director of the groups company. He started his career as a Commercial Pilot and soon found the thrill of organising and operating tailor-made groups to the Middle East and the Mediterranean was more fun and rewarding than sitting behind the controls of a jet flying businessmen to European cities. He has gained his experience over the past 30 years from operating small family groups of 10 to 15 through to large conferences with over 3000 delegates. In 2000 he founded Lightline Pilgrimages, a flourishing specilaist Pilgrimage company that specialises in groups travel to Biblical destinations.

In total the two Directors of the groups company have some 60 years experience to offer you. Their knowledge of, and experience in, arranging the complexities of group travel both close to home and in some of the most remote parts of the world, is the key to the success of the groups company.
