Carbon Offsetting - our commitment

Overseas travel is at the heart of what we at The Groups Company do. But overseas travel, worthwhile and educative as it is, nevertheless has some potentially negative consequences, affecting both the host communities we visit and the planet on which we live. We believe, however, that as responsible travellers, members of our groups will want to offset their overseas travel. Therefore we have teamed up with the Travel Industry Carbon Offset Scheme (TICOS) to channel carbon offset payments from our groups into worthwhile projects organised by TICOS. Each of our groups will be offered, as part of the initial planning of our group arrangments, the chance to contribute to the work of TICOS as part of the cost of their travel.
