Bolivia - is sandwiched between two much better-known neighbours, Argentina to the south and Peru to the north. As a result fewer people are aware of the dramatic scenery of the Altiplano, the jungles of the Yungas and the vast salt lake in the south. A land of colourful people and dramatic scenery, its relative remoteness only adds to its appeal.
 
The Andes, the jungle and the vast Salt Lake: this is a country with scenery that tempts PHOTOGRAPHY and PAINTING groups, whilst more material can be found in the bustling and colourful street markets in La Paz and Cochabamba.
 
A visit to Bolivia can easily be combined with a visit to Peru or Argentina, especially since both countries are possibly on the air access route used to reach Bolivia. Nice to add something unknown to something of the expected.
